The Bottle to Breast Breakthrough

Your baby takes a bottle, but you want to breastfeed.

Maybe your baby…

  • Screams or arches when you offer the breast
  • Latches for a minute, then pulls off
  • Will breastfeed sometimes but still needs bottles afterward
  • Breastfeeds when sleepy but refuses when awake
  • Has become dependent on a faster bottle flow
  • Has never consistently transferred enough milk
  • Started with triple feeding, and somehow you're still triple feeding
  • Is now 2, 3, 4, or even 5+ months old — and you're terrified you've missed your chance

And maybe you've already tried…

Different positions Nipple shields Paced feeding Skin-to-skin Bait-and-switch Offering when sleepy Different bottles Oral exercises Multiple lactation consults

And yet, you're still giving bottles.

The shift

You don't need another breastfeeding trick.

You need to understand why breastfeeding isn't working.

Two babies who both "prefer the bottle" can be struggling for completely different reasons. Often, it's more than one. Until you understand what's keeping your baby stuck, you're throwing strategies at the problem and hoping something works — and that's exactly what this workshop changes.

  • One may struggle with regulation
  • Another with flow
  • Another with oral function
  • Another with milk transfer
  • Another with supply

Your workshop host

Kaely Thompson, RN, IBCLC

I've spent 16 years as a NICU RN and 8 years as an IBCLC, specializing specifically in babies who have become bottle-reliant — helping them successfully navigate back to the breast, even after weeks or months with no previous success. I've worked with thousands of moms — including families who had already worked with other lactation professionals and were still pumping, supplementing, dealing with refusal, or wondering whether breastfeeding was even possible anymore.

The solution isn't trying harder. It's figuring out what's actually preventing breastfeeding from working, and addressing those barriers in the right order.

What you'll learn

Inside The Bottle to Breast Breakthrough

01

Why you're actually stuck

The primary barriers that can keep babies bottle-dependent, and how to begin identifying which ones may be affecting your baby.

02

How to reset

Stop turning breastfeeding into a battle and begin rebuilding safety and positive experiences at the breast.

03

How to rebuild

The role of regulation, flow, oral function, milk transfer, and supply — and why working on the wrong thing keeps you stuck.

04

How to transition

What needs to happen before bottles can safely begin decreasing, and why simply removing bottles isn't a bottle-to-breast strategy.

05

Your next step

Use the Bottle-to-Breast Barrier Assessment to identify your biggest bottleneck and leave with a personalized action plan.

This isn't another breastfeeding class.

You don't need 87 more breastfeeding tips saved on Instagram.

You don't need another generic checklist telling you to do skin-to-skin and "keep offering."

And you definitely don't need to feel like you're failing because those things haven't fixed the problem.

This workshop is designed to help you connect the dots.

You'll look at regulation, milk flow, oral function, transfer, and supply together, so you can start understanding what may actually be keeping your baby stuck. That's what sets this apart from the $27 products and free content.

Before you register

Questions people ask

What if my baby completely refuses the breast?
Yes — breast refusal is one of the situations we'll discuss.
What if my baby is already several months old?
Absolutely. The workshop isn't limited to newborns.
What if I'm exclusively pumping?
Yes. Many bottle-to-breast journeys begin with exclusive pumping.
What if I've already worked with an IBCLC?
This may be especially useful if you've corrected a latch or addressed individual feeding issues but still don't understand why the overall transition isn't progressing.
Will you personally evaluate my baby?
No. This is a group educational workshop, not an individual lactation consultation or medical evaluation. You'll learn how to identify patterns and possible barriers, and determine appropriate next steps.
This boundary is intentional — it's part of what keeps the workshop accessible at $97.
What if I can't attend live?
This workshop is designed to be experienced live, so you can ask questions in real time. If you register and can't make it, we'll send the recording your way.
Last thing

"Should I keep trying?"

"Am I doing something wrong?"

"Does my baby just hate breastfeeding?"

"Did we wait too long?"

"Is this ever going to work?"

You may not need to try harder. You may simply need a better roadmap.

Join me live on September 15, and let's figure out what may be keeping you stuck — and what your next step should be.
